The role:
As part of our Research and Collections project, we are opening up and promoting our collections to the wider public for the very first time. We want to ensure that we do so in a way that fully supports our inclusion statement, recognising the diverse identities of individuals within our archive. To do this, we need to thoroughly review, identify and contact individuals from our 30-year history to celebrate their cultural identities as contributing to the heritage within our existing archives. This will build on previous work led by our Digital Archivist, introducing thematic research guides to our collections. Your role will deliver this next project, ensuring that we recognise the diversity of all those who have contributed to our performance archive as artists and creatives.

The Trainee Archivist will be part of a team comprising a Library & Archive Manager, Collections Manager, Archivist, Digital Archivist, Librarian and a Library & Archive Co-ordinator, providing services to both Globe staff and the public.
