What you will be doing in this role:
Develop, refine, and integrate taxonomies and ontologies that enhance metadata structure, discoverability, and interoperability across HRP’s digital asset management system, collections management system, website content management system via a middleware solution (CIIM by Knowledge Integration).
Collaborate with IT, Curatorial, and Collections Management staff to ensure taxonomy-driven integration supports our organisational goal to share our collections online, without focusing solely on system development.
Work closely with stakeholders in Curatorial, Conservation, Collections Management, Digital Engagement and Web to understand current systems and business processes and identify opportunities for improved search and discovery by improved integration and taxonomy and authority management.
